Maruti Udyog Limited (MUL) requires no introduction; partner of Japanese Motor Corporation Suzuki- the automobile company is undisputed leader of Indian car market from last two decades.
The Background
Maruti Udyog Ltd. Launched a service named N2N Fleet Management Solution, which was objected to facilitate the corporate sales of MUL cars using the relationship management approach through Leasing and Fleet Management as two products.
Making contracts with other service provider such as insurance company, replacement car service provider and manpower service provider, MUL had shown up to its clientele with a complete range of services.
MUL offers end-to-end backups/solutions across the vehicle’s life. Leasing, Maintenance, Convenience Services and Remarketing are some of the major services offered by MUL. For this, they were looking for a proper IT support and chose Binary to provide necessary IT support.
The Challenges
MUL was looking for an absolute B-2-B solution, as a common platform- facilitating to all the partners, clients and company’s own department. The service encompassed interaction and data exchange between multiple organizations. Though, safety and security of data was the most essential topic for MUL and its partners-customers as well, project was encountering the challenges of performance criteria and deadlines too.
The Solution
Binary’s Automobile Fleet Management System came into shape after a rigorous requirement and business process analysis. This system was dependent on a modular architecture, as its different users such as customers, partners, and vendors can access the modules in accordance with their need.
